Every now and again we get the opportunity to work with some super creative people. Grateful as we are for our ‘bread & butter’ work - mainly residential construction products - it’s great to get involved with something a bit different.
In this case, it’s also a chance to help bring people’s vision to life and business off the ground!
We met Victoria Saville and Thomas Farrell through a mutual colleague last year. Victoria is a scenic artist, specialising in paint effects and ageing of materials. Her partner Thomas is from a Showman background, with years of experience in festivals and catering. Combined they make a great team and have started a business ‘Artic Scenery’, producing one of a kind catering units to supply the fast growing street food movement.
They take our plain but weatherproof and lightweight GRP cladding panels, and turn them into stunning facades using a range of techniques.
The new venture offers a full package of design, art work, sign writing and external fit-out.
With Thomas’ contacts, they hope to get involved with some of the large annual events taking place in London in the coming 12-18 months.
We wish them the very best and look forward to seeing Artic Scenery go from strength to strength!
